Not that I haven't thought about you, just consumed with life and trying to stay one step ahead of all  the madness.  I can see that no matter how hard I try...It is IMPOSSIBLE to stay ahead of most things, "Life Just Happens" and you have to be flexible and go along with it and try to smile along the way!

Can You BELIEVE IT? It's March...WOW!!!

March, March, March.  It is amazing to me, I feel dazed and confused about this being the month of MARCH, where is all the time going?

I can see that the weather here is going to be a little crazy again in the high desert of Southern California where I live, but then, I will welcome any type of weather that DOES NOT include wind.  I hate wind. 

I have been trying to find a place to move to that does not have wind.  Saying that, I have to admit,  for this past year we have not had as much wind as in the past.  This area is famous for it!  It involves winds as high as 60 miles per hour and it can go on for days and guess what happens then?  Well, Sand is flying everywhere, you of course can't open the windows in your house and be sure and watch out for those lovely dust particles which eyes seem to attract.   AND if you have allergies, forget it, you will be miserable-guaranteed.

Anyway, at this point I do not think we are going to have winds, we'll let me make sure about that; I'm going to check weather.com.  Oh My Gosh!  I am so excited!  So, the lows are going to be in the mid-high 30's at night and the highs in the mid-upper 60's during the day and NO WIND!  Awesome!

I did manage in the middle of the insanity to make a NEW Bracelet.  I would love to know what you think.  It is very Sweet and "Springtime".  I Love Daisies, always have so I have added this one to my favorites list.  Simple and Sweet;  Looks great on your wrist, fits nice, not droopy, but NOT snug either.  I would have to say it hangs just right!

Happy New Year Everyone ♥♥♥

Well here we are the beginning, the first, the only day 1 of 2011. Wow, what in the world happened to 2010? My head is whirling, my memory must really be gone, and don't even talk to me about another year of aging!

So, I have decided to welcome 2011 with all the gusto of a constant party surrounded with friends and family and enjoying every minute that I can! :0)

Done with the "Guilt thing" so I did not make any New Year’s Resolutions, life is just too crazy with never ending changes so there ya go, I will truly take it one day at a time. I do have a wish list: I hope to spend more time designing; jewelry, clothing, handbags; I hope to spend more time with family; I hope to be brave enough to overcome any and all obstacles in my path; I hope to stay healthy and gain more wisdom; I hope that any and all changes and adventures will truly make me a stronger person; I hope that I can continue to Laugh and embrace whatever NEWNESS comes my way; I hope to really get the tolerance and patience thing down and be loved for my gentleness and kindness; I hope to be a better friend;


So far, doing great today, sure it's ONLY 1:11pm (PST) but hey; it is a NEW BEGINNING right?

The Prime Rib is in the Oven the Potatoes are nearly baked, dessert is tempting me; it is ready and available to partake. My sister and Brother-In-Law are on their way over and we will be having what we call “LINNER” around 2:00 p.m.

It will be a nice relaxing, fun day, just the four of us old people, “COOL Old People”, eating, and reflecting on the past I suppose, enjoying a luscious beverage or two, possibly watch a movie later on.


I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE “It’s Complicated” with Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin, I cannot get enough of that movie, or perhaps we will watch, “Wolfman” I found this to be a most awesome movie the 2nd time around and of course, ANTHONY HOPKINS, does it get any better than him and his acting? I do have a crush on him!


So good friends, I wanted to share a little of my 2011 thoughts and wish you all a “HAPPY NEW YEAR”, may you love your life, have the best of health and prosperity in this new world that we live in.

It was Mighty Cold Today!

This was taken today at about 1:00 PST. This fountain sits out front of our Favorite Mexican Restaurant in Victorville, Ca. Victorville is located in the High desert of Southern California.  Elevation approx. 2700 ft.  The car thermometer said it was 37 degrees outside, BUT that is before the Wind Chill Factor!!!

OMG! Shag Carpeting is Back in Full Force!

My Husband and I had Cabin Fever today and decided to risk the cold, windy, rain threatening weather and venture out to COSTCO.

Wow, I could not believe all of the food samples they were handing out today!  I have never been there when they had this many little tiny food stations, with massive amounts of samples.  In fact,  Michael ate so much that he bowed out of our previous plans of going out to dinner.   I, on the other hand did not eat as many of these free, enticing, samples of pure bliss so I had him take me to the In-N-Out Burger drive thru and I ordered my usual; a Double-Double Cheeseburger and an order of fresh hot fries. YUMMY!

As we were strolling the isles of COSTCO something so very familiar caught my eye.  I almost let out a scream as I noticed just a few feet away from me was a bin filled with large area rugs.  Not just any area rugs, but SHAG Carpeting Area Rugs.  I was taken back to the 70's when that was the stylish and most popular style of rug to have.  Yes, you could grow a garden in that long, thick like hair, carpet.  YES!!! it is BACK!!!  Whoa, I don't even think I am ready for this again.  Do you know what kind of creatures can have a soft, cushy life in that carpet?  Just imagine it, cause it will happen and you will NEVER find them in their new City of lushness!
